a little more about me...
I get it because I’ve been there. After selling my salon a year ago, I took a WHOLE year off to recover from the years of built up burn out (oops), I didn't realise how much of a toll juggling everything was until I had a second to stop and relax. ​
I’m Jessica, and I created Hey Delula to give business owners the breathing room and support I wish I had. I have a degree in Marketing, spent a chunk of time as Head of Social Media for a well known hair extension brand and know the industry like the back of my hand having been in it since I was 16.

I started my journey at 16 as a Bridal Makeup Artist, working in between school commitments, waking up at 4am to get started, begging my parents to drive me until I got my license. I then ventured into hair, teeth whitening, lash lifts, brows, lash extensions and lastly skin.

I have a passion for the industry as well as all things social media and marketing so it was a no brainer to take this next step.

Hey Delula was born from my own journey as a salon owner who struggled to find someone that truly understood the beauty, hair and wellness industry.
​Looking back I realise how DELUSIONAL I was thinking it was normal to never switch off.
After seven years of running my business, I found myself overwhelmed, trying to do it all—manage clients and staff, treatments, and social media—while slowly losing the creativity and passion that got me started.
I felt like there wasn’t a solution out there that captured the essence of my work or took the time to create captions that actually resonated with my clients and used the correct terminology. ​
Hey Delula was created for people like me—the ones who have lost themselves in their businesses, wearing too many hats and feeling burnt out.
It's about giving yourself permission to step back, delegate, and trust that someone understands your business as well as you do. My goal is to offer the social media solution I wish I’d had, one that feels authentic and honours the artistry behind your brand.
